DUPESSEY&CO has reached a strategic milestone with the roll-out of its new WMS

DUPESSEY&CO has reached a strategic milestone with the roll-out of its new WMS

In just five months, DUPESSEY&CO has fully digitised and restructured its warehouse in Illzach (68) to tap into new high-value-added markets. This extraordinary project was successfully completed thanks to the agility of its teams and the support of its systems integrator ACSEP.

A major tender, a challenge met in record time

In October 2024, DUPESSEY&CO won a strategic contract that changed everything. To fulfill this commitment, the group decided to prioritize and radically transform its Seveso-classified site in Illzach (Haut-Rhin, FRANCE) : a complete renovation of the infrastructure, new racks, and the deployment of a high-performance WMS: all with a go-live target set for late February 2025.

Five months. That was the time the teams had to make an 8,000 m² warehouse, dedicated to hazardous materials, 100% operational and digitized.

dedicated to hazardous materials, 100% operational and digitized.

“We had to focus on our warehouse in Illzach. We completely renovated it, from floor to ceiling, including the racks, but also, of course, the WMS, with a planned Go Live date of late February 2025.” — Frédéric LARTILLERIE, Director of Operations, DUPESSEY&CO

A 100% digital logistics operation, end-to-end

DUPESSEY&CO has chosen the Hardis WMS, deployed as a SaaS solution by the integrator ACSEP. This decision is part of a clear vision: to streamline and professionalize an already robust logistics operation, equipping it with the resources needed to achieve its ambitions.

After all, DUPESSEY&CO boasts 55 years of experience in transportation and logistics, a presence in Southern Europe (Italy, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland), and recognized expertise in highly regulated environments: hazardous materials, customs-bonded logistics, and complex industrial flows.

What was missing was a WMS capable of supporting this trajectory. That has now been achieved.

Tangible results from the very first year

The launch of the Illzach facility in February 2025 immediately lived up to expectations. The numbers speak for themselves:

  • 99% service rate
  • 1.3 million items processed
  • 780,000 picking operations completed without interruption

This performance validates the group’s strategy and its ability to meet the demands of its most exacting industrial customers, particularly in high-value-added retail order fulfillment and co-packing activities.

The rollout is continuing at five additional sites

For ACSEP & DUPESSEY&CO, the project doesn’t end with this successful go-live! Building on this success, DUPESSEY&CO is now entering the second phase of its digitalization program in partnership with ACSEP: the deployment of the Hardis WMS across five additional warehouses—Hombourg, Rumilly, Satolas, Corbas, and Barcelona—to ultimately reach 105,000 m² of integrated warehouse space.

This large-scale project positions DUPESSEY&CO as a contract logistics provider fully equipped to meet the most demanding tender requirements.

“The ACSEP teams demonstrated commitment and professionalism,” continues Frédéric LARTILLERIE. “They have real expertise in the Hardis WMS and a deep understanding of how a warehouse operates. Their communication is clear, transparent, and results-oriented, which was appreciated by all the teams! Finally, their project management allowed them to anticipate challenges and stay on schedule.”

DUPESSEY&CO: an independent, agile, and forward-thinking group

In addition to the Hardis WMS, which has helped structure and professionalize its logistics operations, DUPESSEY&CO has assembled a supply chain and IT team capable of responding to major tenders for traditional logistics or high-value-added activities, such as retail order fulfillment and co-packing.

“We are an independent French group with a short decision-making process that gives us flexibility and responsiveness. Our logistics operations are 100% digitized, from order entry through to delivery to the recipient. All we needed was a high-performance WMS to support our growth objectives!” — Frédéric LARTILLERIE, Director of Operations, DUPESSEY&CO

With 105,000 m² of warehouse space, including 26,000 m² dedicated to hazardous materials, a strengthened supply chain and IT team, and a logistics offering that is now fully digitized, DUPESSEY&CO is moving into the future with unique strengths and an industrial infrastructure that matches its ambitions.
